A Day of Classes, Coffee, and Cosmic Surprises
Today felt like one of those days that moved in fast forward but still left a handful of stories to tell. Morning began with my usual DDE classes, which went surprisingly smooth. Students were lively, questions kept flowing, and I felt the energy bouncing back. I walked out of class thinking, “Okay, that was worth it.”
Next, my laptop decided it needed some pampering. Off it went to the service center, and like a royal guest, it returned only in the evening with its “system upgraded.” Honestly, I was half-expecting it to demand a welcome back party.
Evening had its own plans for me. I had meant to meet my friend, but life played its little trick, and I ran late. Still, when we finally met, the mood of the day completely changed. Our routine unfolded the usual way riding, sipping sugar free coffee (because we like to keep diabetes away but happiness close), and hitting the road without worrying where it leads. He shared many things, I shared too, and it felt good because at the end of the day, all we really need are ears that truly listen. Personally, it was mind relaxing, the kind of conversation that lightens the heart.
I’ve always believed that a bike ride is the cheapest therapy session you can ever get. Wind in your face, road under your wheels, and silence replaced by laughter it’s hard not to feel alive. With him around, the rides feel like they got an extra gear of joy.
And just when I thought the day couldn’t get more interesting, a sage appeared out of nowhere. Yes, literally. He spoke about Lord Shiva and said that faith in Shiva could uplift my life. I already believe in Shiva, so it felt like the universe was confirming my choices through this bearded messenger. He blessed us, smiled, and walked away, leaving me half amazed and half thinking, “Did that just happen?”
After supper, I finally rolled back home. Looking back, today had everything: classes, upgrades, friendship, coffee, therapy rides, and even divine advice. If every day could be this dramatic and delightful, I’d sign up in a heartbeat
The way you narrate your entire day so precisely is truly admirable.
